Abstract:
To provide an image recording device, using a rotary blade of a slitter to the maximum, temporarily improving the deteriorated sharpness until the rotary blade is replaced, thereby decreasing the production halt period to restrain degradation of productivity.
In this image recording device, a cutting part includes: two rotary blades making a pair, which are disposed to have an overlapping part; a pre-load applying means for applying pre-load to the overlapping part of two rotary blades; and a pre-load amount increasing means for increasing the pre-load of the pre-load applying means by a predetermined amount when the cutting condition of the rotary blades reaches a predetermined condition. Thus, the above problem is solved.
