When half-depressing operation of a release button is performed, a lens-side vibration-proofing mechanism that performs camera shake correction by an optical system for camera shake correction provided in an interchangeable lens is operated (#53). When fully depressing operation of the release button is performed (#59Y), a body-side vibration-proofing mechanism that performs camera shake correction by moving an imaging device provided in a camera body is operated (#65). When finishing photography, centering operation of the lens-side vibration-proofing mechanism and the body side vibration-proofing mechanism is performed (#81 and #83).
