To solve the following problem: in a luminance signal produced from signals R, B and G amplified so as to match white-balancing, an S/N is deteriorated by the influence of noise caused by amplification processing, and motion cannot be exactly detected.
A color interpolation circuit (15) performs color interpolation processing based on a color filter array of a solid-state imaging element (11) and outputs the signals R, G and B. A white balance amplification circuit (16) amplifies the signals R and B based on a gain set by a control circuit (20) and outputs signals RW and BW. A signal level detecting module (17) obtains a pixel integration value or an average value of each of the signals RW, G and BW and supplies a result to the control circuit (20). A moving amount calculation circuit (30) generates a moving amount signal MD which is based on an inter-frame difference of a color addition signal MDi obtained by adding the signals R, G and B.
