To provide a wireless terminal capable of disabling a touch sensor, without fail, without detecting an object approach to a touch panel, when it goes into a state where disabling of the touch sensor becomes desirable.
A portable telephone 10 includes a touch panel 11, a system state controlling section 34, and a forcible timer 41. The system state controlling section 34 controls a system state in communication under a first busy state for disabling an input operation via a touch sensor 27 of the touch panel 11, excluding a predetermined input operation or a second busy state for enabling the input operation via the touch sensor 27. The forcible timer 41 starts time counting, when the system state control section 34 changes the system state, from the other busy state to the second busy state, and it outputs a time-out signal, when a predetermined time passes after the start of time counting. When the system state control section 34 receives the time-out signal from the forcible timer 41, it changes the system state from a second busy state into a first busy state.
