Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of appropriately controlling the exposure timing of pixels for focus detection.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a pixel array in which plural pixels for focus detection and plural pixels for imaging are arranged. Each pixel for focus detection comprises: a first photoelectric conversion part for photoelectric conversion of incident light to generate electric charge; a memory part for accumulating the electric charge transferred from the first photoelectric conversion part; and a shading part for shading the memory part. Each pixel for imaging comprises a second photoelectric conversion part for photoelectric conversion of the incident light to generate electric charge.
