Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to start repair immediately after the occurrence of leak of water and largely reduce man power and cost required for the repair in an impervious sheet stretched over the surface of the earth by providing at leat two layers of sheet bodies and providing partition walls between the sheet bodies to divide the space between the sheet bodies into a plurality of spaces.
CONSTITUTION: An impervious sheet 2 is stretched over the surface of the earth of a recess 1 formed on a slope by excavation and the sheet 2 comprises at least two layers of sheet bodies and partition walls 7 are provided between the bodies to divide the space therebetween into a plurality of spaces 8. Consequently, by detecting the presence of water in each of the spaces 8, it is possible to detect leak of water immediately after the occurrence thereof and further it is possible to find roughly the location of the leak in the wide sheet 2, and hence by inspecting only the space 8 corresponding to said location in the case of repair, location of leak of water can be easily confirmed.
