Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce mis-detection of an impulse noise in a moving picture in the impulse noise elimination device.
CONSTITUTION: A luminance signal (Y) 100 from a Y/C separation circuit 14 is inputted to a frame memory 101 and an adder 115, and a difference from a frame delay luminance signal 102 delayed by one frame period is calculated by the frame memory and a frame difference signal 105 is extracted through an absolute value circuit 104. The frame difference signal 105 is given to a comparator circuit 106 in which the level of the signal 105 and the level of a motion detection threshold level signal 107 are compared and a 1H after motion detection signal 108 is obtained in response to the quantity and a 1H preceding motion signal 110 is obtained through line memories 109-1, 109-2 and both the signals are inputted to a NOR circuit 111, from which a motion detection signal 112 is outputted.
