PURPOSE: To improve function by a method wherein a plurality of recesses in specified dimensions are formed in a specified distribution on the surface of a incombustible base made up in a specified composition.
CONSTITUTION: A molding is made of a hydrate inorganic compound, or of the hydrate inorganic compound and carbonate with the total of the above two made to become 75-95wt.% as a solid part, and furthermore with cellulose fibers and thermosetting resin added. A plurality of recesses 7 are provided at the surface of the molding 8. Each of the recesses 7 is formed in a depth of 0.5mm or more, in the maximum width for opening of 1mm or more, and in the minimum length of 5mm or more. The maximum projected area of the recesses 7 occupying the surface of the molded body is made to become 5% or more. A flame retardant is contained in the surface layer parts and their vicinities of the recesses 7, and the ratio of content for the flame retardant is made to become 0.2-8wt.% as a solid part. The ratio of the hydrate inorganic compound to the carbonate is made to become 40/60 in wt.% or more in the hydrate inorganic compound side. A plurality of protuberances in a height of 0.5mm or more may be provided instead of the recesses 7, and the maximum projected area occupying the surface is made to become 5% or more. Thereby, incombustibility and design properties are improved while improving efficiency in execution of work on curved surfaces.
