To provide an inductance element having a good DC superimposing characteristic whose inductance value and DC superimposing characteristic are prevented from fluctuating, by avoiding degradation of its magnetic saturating characteristic caused by contact of its drum core with its ring core.
The inductance element has a drum core 2 having a drum-like shape whose winding is so wound around a winding-core portion 14 as to provide first and second flanges 5, 6 at both the ends of the winding core 14, and has a ring core 3 having an annular shape wherein there are provided a storing portion 8 for storing therein the drum core 2 and a stage portion 4 for holding thereon the first flange 5. Further, in this inductance element, the drum core 2 is coated with a non-magnetic material having an electric-insulation quality.
