To provide an inductor which can be miniaturized and further can improve a coming-off strength of a terminal from a magnetic substance, and can suppress a breakage of the magnetic substance and a generation of a crack which are anxious at the time of bending and processing the terminal.
The inductor is constituted by the steps of connecting leads 3, 13 at both ends of a coil 2 consisting of a conductive material with joints 10, 100 of a terminal 4; embedding a part of the terminal 4 including the joints 10, 100 of the coil 2 and the terminal 4 in a magnetic substance 1; and bending and processing the terminal 4 outwardly projecting from the magnetic substance 1 along the side face of the magnetic substance 1, wherein terminal embedded portions 8, 18 of the terminal 4 embedded in the magnetic substance 1 are divided into two pieces.
