To provide an information communication system in which a recipient of information displayed on a video display device, who watches the information, is capable of immediately accessing the information on that site to refer to detailed information.

The information communication system is comprised of a plurality of video display devices, a first proximate communication means installed in each of the plurality of video display devices, a control means which controls the first proximate communication means and the video display devices, and a mobile communication terminal which includes a second proximate communication means and is capable of displaying, on a display unit, various kinds of information received via the second proximate communication means. If the first proximate communication means is accessed from the second proximate communication means on the basis of information displayed on a video display device, more detailed information of the information displayed on the video display device is sent from the first proximate communication means to the second proximate communication means, and displayed on the display unit of the mobile communication terminal using an image at least.
