Title:
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PROCESSING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2023138289
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To suppress lowering of prediction accuracy of a prediction part for predicting a life of a device mounted on an apparatus, and thereby suppress the occurrence of wasteful cost.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus that has a body part for controlling operation of the whole apparatus and an operation part including a display part, and can be switched between a normal mode and an energy-saving mode includes: a device that is mounted on at least one of the body part and the operation part, in which change information indicating the change of the operation state of the information processing apparatus is written in at least mutual switching of the normal mode and the save-energy mode, and the number of times of writing is limited; a count part that counts the number of times of writing of the change information in the device; a predication part that predicts the life of the device, on the basis of a count value counted by the count part; and a self-diagnosis part that diagnoses the validity of the count value used in the prediction of the prediction part, when an increase rate of the count value exceeds a predetermined increase rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
