Abstract:

To calculate with high accuracy a confidence level of an estimate of the number of objects present in an area.SOLUTION: A derivation unit 20B of an information processing device 10 derives a constraint equation for each sensor S in which observed values observed by the sensor S are substituted into terms of observed value variables included in an error model. The error model represents a correspondence between the number of objects present in an observation range of the sensor S expressed by the observed value variables of the observed values and also expressed by error terms of an assumed detection error range of the sensor S and the number of objects present in the observation range of the sensor S expressed by variables representing the number of objects present in an observation unit space defined by the observation range of the sensor S and an area range. A range calculation unit 20C calculates a possible range of the number of objects present in the area using the constraint equation. A confidence calculation unit calculates a confidence level of an estimate of the number of objects present in each area using the possible range of the number of objects present.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
