Abstract:
To configure appropriate settings, in device management, for execution timing of a setting request according to a security policy, while taking into consideration scheduling of power supply state such as power off state or predetermined power saving state.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus in which a management application is executed is configured to: set a first schedule for determining timing for transmitting an instruction to shift to a predetermined power supply state in which a request via a network fails to a management target device and a second schedule for determining timing for transmitting a request according to the settings of a security policy to the management target device via the network; and execute processing so that timing for transmitting a request based on the second schedule regarding the settings of the second schedule does not overlap a period during which a request fails due to an instruction to be transmitted based on the first schedule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
