Title:
INFORMATION RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61284788
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a ghost from appearing in an image and to prevent a photosensitive body from deteriorating by using a light source which has nearly the same wavelength range with a light source for information recording as a photosensitive body illuminating light source except the information recording light source which is turned on and off in correspondence to a signal to be recorded.

CONSTITUTION: The recording LED array 1 as the information recording light source is arranged in the axial direction of a photosensitive body 2 and turned on and off with an input voltage corresponding to the signal to be recorded. Then, LEDs having nearly the same wavelength with a recording LED array 1 as the information recording light source is used as an electrostatic discharging. Those LEDs are also arrayed in the axial direction of the photosensitive body 2 almost to the overall length of the photosensitive body 2. This electrostatic discharging lamp 11 is used to make the excitation of electrons uniform over the entire axial area of the photosensitive body 2 at the energy level equal to that in the latent image formation by the recording LED array 1 during the electrostatic discharging of the photosensitive body 2, and the residual potential on the surface of the photosensitive body 2 is erased completely to eliminate a ghost phenomenon.
