Abstract:
PURPOSE:To immediately enable most suitable reproducing processing in the case of recording the sound corresponding to discriminating information of high band recording or low band recording of a video signal by recording in addition to the control code. CONSTITUTION:Multi-recording is performed in the case of recording the sound corresponding to discriminating information of a high band recording mode or a low band recording mode of the video signal. At the time of reproduction, based on the detecting results of discriminating information from the sound track, the reproducing mode of the corresponding video signal, that is, whether high band reproduction or low band reproduction is previously detected and the setting of the reproduction mode of the video track is previously enabled prior to the reproduction of the video signal and also, the production mode is transferred to the reproduction of the practical video track. By this method, the reproduction of the video signal is quickly enabled in the most suitable state.
