Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent media detecting failures, to accurately set a detecting position, to know the ejection of a disk and to secure time for initializing of a disk device when the media insertion of the disk device is detected.
CONSTITUTION: The detection of a medium 1 is performed by a switch 105 via a detecting lever 103. the position of detecting the medium 1 is set within the working range of a trigger 110. Further, a medium receiving part 101c is provided in the vicinity of the detecting lever 103.
