Abstract:
To provide a methacrylic resin having high heat resistance and highly controlled birefringence and suitable for injection molding application, a methacrylic resin molded body comprising the methacrylic resin, and an optical component or an automobile component formed of the methacrylic resin molded body.SOLUTION: An injection molded body having a fine concavo-convex pattern formed on the surface thereof is obtained by use of a composition comprising a methacrylic resin having a ring structure in the main chain. The fine concavo-convex pattern has a height or a recess of 0.1 to 500 μm and a pitch distance in the concavo-convex pattern of 10 to 1000 μm, and the methacrylic resin has a glass transition temperature of over 120°C and 160°C or lower. The sign of orientation birefringence when the resin is oriented to an orientation degree of 0.03 and the sign of orientation birefringence when the resin is oriented to an orientation degree of 0.08 are different from each other. An optical component or an automobile component are also disclosed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
