PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition which, in a coated state, can emit a metallic luster, glitters finely and brilliantly, by mixing a powder comprising particles of a specified particle diameter, obtained by grinding a laminate formed by applying a metal layer to the surface of a hard resin film by metalization with a synthetic resin medium.
CONSTITUTION: A metal such as Al is applied by metalization to the surface of a hard resin film 40' having a film thickness of 0.1W10μ and comprising a resin of a glass transition temperature ≥70°C and an MW ≤100,000 so that a metal layer 30' of a thickness of about 500 may be formed to obtain a laminate 1. A powder comprising particles each having a hard resin film 40 and a metal layer 30 and obtained by grinding the laminate 1 so that the particle diameter may be larger than the thickness is dispersed in a synthetic resin medium 10 to obtain the title composition. This composition is applied to, for example, a base film 60 by, e.g., gravure printing to form an ink coating layer A, the film 60 is rolled into a cylinder so that the ink coating layer may be situated inside, and the obtained label 70 is put around the trunk 81 of, e.g., a bottle 80 and allowed to shrink by blowing, e.g., hot air against it.
