To prevent an achromatic color region, which is obtained by combined use of dye black ink, dye yellow ink, dye magenta ink and dye cyan ink, from being tinted even when exposed to light for long terms in an ink set for inkjet recording comprising the dye yellow ink, the dye magenta ink, the dye cyan ink and the dye black ink.
The ink set for inkjet recording comprises dye yellow ink, dye magenta ink, dye cyan ink and dye black ink, and, when a patch of each ink is subjected to a specified light resistance test, the OD value reduction ratio of the patch of each ink after the light resistance test compared to that before the test is such that the order of the degree of the OD value reduction of each of the yellow component, the magenta component and the cyan component in the black ink patch is reverse to the order of the degree of the OD value reduction of the yellow ink component in the dye yellow ink, that of the magenta component in the dye magenta ink and that of the cyan component in the dye cyan ink.
