PURPOSE: To sufficiently transfer ink to a drive line, by a method wherein a traditional delivery roller is omitted and the structure is extremely simplified by bringing an ink original roller into direct contact with the drive roller, and the ink original roller is made to be of a rubber roller.
CONSTITUTION: The ink fed to an ink original roller 5a is made to be of a fixed thickness with an ink feed blade 6 and a clearance 6c, and is transferred to the drive roller 8 which is in direct contact therewith and is rotating at a different high peripheral speed. The ink on the drive roller 8 is transferred onto printing paper 12 via form rollers 9a, 9b, a plate cylinder 10, and a blancket 11. Further, the dampening water B in a dampening water tank 1b is transferred onto the plate cylinder 10 via a water original roller 5b, a blancket 13, a water reciprocating roller 14, and a water applying roller 15. Further, when the surface of the ink original roller is made to be of a roughened surface (15W80μ) and a rider roller is further provided to the drive roller, the improvement to the transfer state of ink can be achieved further.
