Abstract:
To provide an ink-jet recording device capable of controlling the mixed color of ink even when forming an image on low absorbent and unabsorbent recording media and excellent in the dischargeability of the ink from a recording head.SOLUTION: An ink-jet recording device includes a heating device provided on the upper stream side in the conveyance direction of a recording medium to the recording head and a recording head. The temperature of the recording medium heated by the heating device is 40-80°C; ink includes pigment, a cellulose derivative, first and second water soluble organic solvents and water; the first water soluble organic solvent is glycol ether; the second water soluble organic solvent is a water-soluble organic solvent different from the glycol ether; the content of the cellulose derivative is 0.01-0.20 mass% to the mass of the ink; and the content of the glycol ether is 6-24 mass% to the mass of the ink and 20-80 mass% to the total mass of the first and second water soluble organic solvents.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
