Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can easily connect to a desired server among a plurality of partner servers.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 comprises a reading unit 1, a communication unit 50, and a control unit 60. The reading unit 1 reads an input image of a business card or a staff identity card of a user. The communication unit 50 executes communication via a network 20. The control unit 60 controls the reading unit 1 and the communication unit 50. The control unit 60 specifies a desired partner server related to the user's post from among a plurality of partner servers 11-13 via the network 20 by using at least one of character information and image information based on the input image, and sets information for connection to the desired partner server to the communication unit 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
