Title:
INPUT SYSTEM FOR CURRENCY AMOUNT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63307519
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To pay the currency of a desired amount in a desired type of money by storing the numeric characters shown by ten keys into a numeric character buffer and shifting the contents of this buffer to a money type area corresponding in 1:1 to a money type key.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic teller machine contains a keyboard and a control part. The keyboard includes ten keys, an enter key and plural money type keys. These money type keys include, e.g., a 50-dollar key, 20-dollar key, a 10-dollar key, 5-dollar key and 1-dollar key. The control part stores the numeric characters shown by ten keys into a numeric character buffer when these ten keys are pushed in a currency amount input processing step during a payment process or a money exchange process. Then the control part shifts the contents of the numeric character buffer to a money type area corresponding in 1:1 to the relevant pushed money type key and sets the next processing step when the enter key is pushed. In such a constitution, the currency is payed to a customer in his/her desired type of money and desired amount.
