Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost-reduced inrush current suppression circuit which suppresses generation of a loss within the circuit low by suppressing an inrush current without generating a malfunction even in the case where chattering is generated when turning on a switch, inserting a hot wire of a connector or inserting a fuse, and a power unit.SOLUTION: An inrush current suppression circuit 20 is connected between an external power source Vin and a power conversion circuit PC including a capacitor Cin that is connected in parallel to an input terminal, and includes: a current suppression element 21 which is connected in series to a current path between the external power source and the power conversion circuit; a switch element 22 which is connected in parallel to the current suppression element and conducts both terminals of the current suppression element; a control circuit 23 which switches conduction and non-conduction of the switch element; a detection circuit 24 which detects cutting off of a connection of the external power source to the power conversion circuit, and generates a detection signal; and a latch circuit 25 which receives the detection signal from the detection circuit and outputs a latch signal for keeping a non-conducted state of the switch element to the control circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
