PURPOSE: To suppress the generation of an inspection error by stretching a support across the gap between the almost central parts of a fixing plate and an inspection machine main body and certainly applying a pin probe to the conductor pattern of a printed-wiring board at the time of the inspection of continuity.

CONSTITUTION: A fixing plate 1 is fixed to the main body of an inspection machine and a press plate 3 is connected to the peripheral edge of said plate 1 through connection posts 7 and a plurality of pin probes 2 are arranged to the press plate 3 so that the extensible parts 2a provided to the leading ends of said probes protrude downwardly. The probes 2 are arranged corresponding to the respective conductor patterns 6. A metal support 4 is stretched across the gap between the almost central arts of the press plate 3 and the fixing plate 1. The press plate 3 is pressed to a printed wiring board 5 at the time of the inspection of continuity and the leading ends of the probes 2 are pressed to the patterns 6. At this time, the press plate 3 is supported by the support 4 without warping upwardly and the leading ends of the probes 2 are certainly applied to the patterns 6.
