PURPOSE: To install a weather strip on the automobile door opening edge to which a molding member is added with excellent workability without causing positional dislocation.

CONSTITUTION: A locking projection 44 is formed on the tail end of an installing base part 42 of a molding member 4 fixed to the door opening edge 2, and an engaging groove 53 corresponding to the locking projection 44 is formed in an end part on the car interior side of a weather strip 5, and the locking groove 53 is fitted to the locking projection 42, and the weather strip 5 is positioned and fixed in the end part on its car interior side, and an end part on the car outside of a base part 51 of the weather strip 5 is joined to the installing base part 42 of the molding member 4 through a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 7.
