PURPOSE: To install a waist seal inner without using a clip or the like by forming thick parts on the vertical directional both ends of a base part, and embedding both end parts of core metal having short bridges and long bridges having a large curving degree in these in the waist seal inner to be installed on the upper edge of a door inner panel.

CONSTITUTION: Thick parts 41 and 41 are formed on the vertical directional both ends of a base part 40 to be fitted to and installed on a retainer 86 installed on a door inner panel of a seal inner, and vertical directional both end parts 31 and 32 of core metal 30 are respectively embedded in the respective thick parts 41 and 42. This core metal 30 is formed so that a vertical directional central part is exposed in a groove 43, and that a large number of short bridges 33 and a large number of long bridges 34 having a large curving degree are arranged between both end parts 31 and 32. The respective bridges 33 and 34 can reversibly reverse in an elastic limit, and are formed so that a vertical width La of an inlet of the retainer 86 becomes wider than a vertical width of the base part 40 before reversal, and that a vertical width of the base part 40 after reversal becomes wider than the vertical width La.
