Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air amount control device for an engine capable of providing an abnormality monitoring means and a fail safe control means by an efficient duplexed system CPU constitution, and improving the control responsibility.
SOLUTION: This intake air amount control device is provided with a throttle control motor 103, an engine driving apparatus 105a, a load relay 104a, peripheral auxiliaries 105b, a warning display unit 109, a main CPU 111 for controlling the throttle control motor 103 and the engine driving apparatus 105a, a sub-CPU for controlling the load relay 104a and the peripheral auxiliaries 105b in cooperation with the main CPU 111, a group of sensors 101a, 101b, 102a and 102b, serial interfaces 117, 127 for transmitting and receiving signals between the main CPU 111 and the sub-CPU 121, and an abnormality storing element 133 for cutting the load relay 104a and driving the warning display unit 109.
