Title:
INTERIOR TRIMMING PART INSTALLATION STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3871986
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure impact absorbing performance in occupant secondary collision while increasing strength of interior trimming parts provided on an interior trimming lining of an automobile.
SOLUTION: A recess part 24 is formed by bending a part of an outer panel 21 toward an inner panel 22 and one end of a bracket 30 is welded W7 on side surfaces 22a, 22b of the recess part 24 in joining the outer panel 21 and the inner panel 22 of the automobile via closed section spaces 25, 27. The interior trimming lining 18 having a pocket 19 as an interior trimming part formed as one body and a cover member 33 for the pocket 19 are fastened together with a face bolt 31 on another end of the bracket 30. Consequently, load applied to the pocket 19 can be supported by the inner panel 22 via the bracket 30, the closed section space 25 is crushed and the bracket 30 is plastically deformed to effectively absorb impact of collision when the head part 13 of the passenger collide into a part close to the pocket 19 as secondary collision.
