Abstract:
To provide a cooling system capable of: further saving space; reducing the number of components; and cooling an addition valve while curbing excessive cooling of intake air with an intercooler.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine cooling system 70 comprises: an intercooler 71 which is installed on an intake passage 11B of an internal combustion engine 10 provided with an addition valve 61 injecting an additive agent into exhaust gas in an exhaust passage 12C and a supercharger 22; an intercooler radiator 72 which cools a coolant flowing in the intercooler 71; an electric pump 73 which is capable of circulating the coolant or stopping circulation of the coolant among the intercooler 71, the intercooler radiator 72 and the addition valve 61; and a control device 50. The control device 50 determines necessity of cooling the addition valve 61 on the basis of an addition valve related temperature related to the addition valve 61 and, when determining the necessity of cooling the addition valve 61, causes the electric pump 73 to pump a predetermined amount of the coolant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
