Title:
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE IGNITER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003297655
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an internal combustion engine igniter mounted to a cylinder head by integrating an ignition plug 2 with an ignition plug 3, wherein a connector terminal and a wire harness are not required for electrically connecting a low-voltage side of a secondary winding 32 to an internal combustion engine.

A case 1 is formed with a conductive material, and one end of the secondary winding 32 is electrically connected to a center electrode 22. The other end of the secondary winding 32 and a grounding electrode 23 are electrically connected to the case 1. Thus, since the low-voltage side of the secondary winding 32 is electrically connected to the grounding electrode 23 through the case 1, necessity of the connector terminal and the wire harness can be eliminated for electrically connecting the low-voltage side of the secondary winding 32 to the internal combustion engine.
