Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent surely deformation of a dip treating material from being deformed by the effect of a negative pressure in the stage of emerging from a treating vessel by providing mechanisms for supporting and conveying the front and rear part of the material by means of cross members and supplying air through the discharging ports of the cross members into the treating material when said material arrives at the outlet part of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:Cross members 18a provided with air discharging ports 22 and discharging ports 24 for air and an electrodepositing liquid 10 and having an air passage 20 are respectively inserted through the openings for windows in the front and rear part of a car body 9 and are suspended, by which the car body is conveyed in the liquid 10. When the body 9 comes to the outlet position of a vessel, a robot 30 traveling in synchronization with the body 9 operates to oscillate downward the air nozzle 28 thereof and to connect the nozzle to the pipe 26 connected to the member 18a. When the top end of the roof panel 12 of the body 9 begins to emerge from the liquid surface 10a, air is supplied through the nozzle 28 into the passage 20 by the operation of an air pump. The air emerging from the discharging parts 22 accumulates in the recess 12a of the panel 12 thereby preventing the negative pressure from acting therein.
