Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the probability of personal refusal. SOLUTION: Iris data of both eyes is stored as iris data for collation. A first identification part 12 collates one eye of a user to identify whether or not the user is person himself. If the first identification part 12 does not identify the user, a second identification part 13 collates the other eye. When the user is identified by the other eye as the result or when the degree of non-similarity to iris data for collation of both eyes is within a prescribed range in identification in first and second identification parts 12 and 13, the user is identified as the person himself on the basis of the overall identified result.
