Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job management device which controls execution sequence of jobs suitably according to user's urgency and budget, a job management program and an image forming apparatus equipped with them.
SOLUTION: Unit charge is calculated from processing amount required to perform all jobs stored in a queue (S100). The execution charge for the jobs chosen in the order of storage in the queue is calculated based on the unit charge (S110). If the execution charge is higher than the allowable charge of the job (S120:NO), the following job is chosen and the same comparison is performed (S125:YES). If there is a job which satisfies the comparison condition, it will be executed (S120:YES). If all jobs in the queue do not satisfy the above comparison condition, the top job is chosen and executed (S125:NO, S130). At the time of a heavy load, a job with a higher allowable charge is given priority and executed. At the time of a low load, the execution charge becomes low, and user's burden of expense is reduced.
