To provide a joint structure of an excavating rod capable of being automatically coupled to an excavator side by screwing, which enables the excavating rods to be coupled together by fitting a polygonal cross-section joint and inserting a pin, in the addition of another excavating rod.
In this joint structure of the excavating rod which is mounted on a driving shaft of an excavator and to which another excavating rod is added with the progress of excavation work, a recess of a cup part, which is formed at one end, and a coupling shaft part, which is provided at the other end thereof and can be inserted into the recess of the cup part, are formed so as to have a polygonal cross section; a screw part to be screwed to the driving shaft of the excavator is formed in a base part which serves as the inside of the coupling shaft part; the recess of the excavating rod and the coupling shaft part are fitted together; and the pin is inserted into a fitting part so that both of the fitting part and the pin can be latched together.
