Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knife cylinder, a rotary die cutter, an edge mount fixing device, and an edge mount fixing method capable of realizing reductions in the size of a device and cost.SOLUTION: A knife cylinder comprises: a constraint member 71 provided in a fixed hole 49 to be movable along an axial center direction and immovable in a circumferential direction; a helical compression spring 73 energizing the constraint member 71 inward of the fixed hole 49; an operation member 72 that includes a plate portion 101 provided in a proximal end portion thereof to be able to be locked to an edge mount 45, and a distal end portion entering the constraint member 71 through an attachment hole 48; a protruding portion 74 provided on the constraint member 71; a spiral groove 75 that is provided in the operation member 72, that is engaged with the protruding portion 74, and that can move the constraint member 71 from a first position to a second position against an energizing force of the helical compression spring 73 in response to the rotation of the operation member 72; and a blocking groove 76 provided in an outer surface of the operation member 72 and blocking the operation member 72 from rotating in an opposite direction when the constraint member 71 is located at the second position.
