To provide a knife of the fixed blade type preventing a blade cover from being separated from the knife during use of the knife to prevent the cover from being lost.
The blade 11 of the knife is secured to one end of a handle 13. The blade cover 15 for covering at least the edge part of the blade 11 is displaceably attached to the handle 13.
