Title:
LAMINATED GIGGED NONWOVEN FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3553757
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide laminated gigged nonwoven fabric that can prevent disconnection of piles, is light in weight, excellent in surface texture, quality, formability and shape retention and can be readily adjusted in color tones.
SOLUTION: This laminated gigged nonwoven fabric is prepared by laminating the piled part nonwoven fabric comprising 76-98wt.% of high-melting polyester staple fibers of 2-50 denier and 2-24wt.% of sheath-core type conjugated staple fibers containing a low-melting copolyester as the sheath on the base cloth part nonwoven fabric comprising 0-75wt.% of high-melting staple fibers, 20-95wt.% of conjugated staple fibers and 5-70wt.% of flame retardancy-treated polyester stale fibers. In this laminated nonwoven fabric, the fiber formulation is different between the piled part and the base cloth part and both fabrics can be laminated by the thermal melting between the constituting fibers utilizing the difference of melting points of the polyesters.
