Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machine that detects a breaking point on a machining line by a simple operation and that has an automatic positioning function to the breaking point detected, in the case of teaching.
SOLUTION: An operator, in teaching, makes adjustment so that a breaking point on a machining line on a workpiece comes within the field of view of a CCD camera 13 by means of a teaching box 25. A picture processor 21 processes a picture from the CCD camera 13, detecting the breaking point on the machining line. A controller 23, by the automatic positioning function for the breaking point, makes a machining point coincide with the detected breaking point on the machining line.
