To provide an LED array having high performance and high reliability by making light emitting intensities of respective light emitting elements equal.
The LED array comprises a light emitting element group 9 having a plurality of light emitting elements each including a one conductivity semiconductor layer 2, a reverse conductivity semiconductor layer 3 and individual electrodes 4 sequentially laminated on a single crystal substrate 1 and also including a common electrode 5 and an insulating film 6 aligned in parallel on an extension part 7 in which the layer 2 is drawn out. In this array, intervals (x) of electrodes to the common electrode 5 in the part 7 of each emitting element in the group 9 are different, and an interval (x) between the electrode of the one emitting element and an interval (x) between the electrodes of the another emitting element are the same as that both electrodes 5 are conducted. Further, a contact area (s) of the part 7 with the electrode 5 is increases as the interval (x) between the electrodes is lengthened.
