To provide a lens support device capable of performing working required for lens exchange from a box-type lens device to a portable lens device in a short time.

After the box-type lens device is detached from a lens supporter 20, a lens support member 40 is supported on the lens supporter 20. The working is performed by engaging a hook 48 of the lens support member 40 with a hook 32 of the lens supporter 20. Next, a bayonet mount 28 of an ENG lens device 12 is connected to a mount part 30 of a camera 14 through an opening part 46 of the lens support member 40 and an opening part 26 of the lens supporter 20, and a screw 52 of the lens support member 40 is tightened in a nut 54 of the ENG lens device 12. Exchange working from the box-type lens device to the ENG lens device 12 is completed by the above operation. Thus, lens exchange working can be performed without performing working detaching the lens supporter 20 from a universal head 18 of the lens supporter 20 by using the lens support member 40.
