Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a light beam reception position measuring device which can extend the measurement range of light beams without using a number of light reception elements.
CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber ribbon cable 1 with an oblique light scattering region 2 is provided and a line sensor 3 for outputting a detection position by detecting the scattered light generated when light beams applied to the optical fiber ribbon cable 1 crosses the light scattering region 2 is provided at one edge part of the optical fiber ribbon cable 1, thus calculating the light reception position of light beams based on the detection position.
