Abstract:

To solve the problem in the conventional cameras of high electric power consumption, and difficulty in reducing its size and weight, by eliminating a stroboscopic circuit for generating high voltage for emitting the light of a stroboscopic discharge tube, except for an inverter circuit for driving a cold- cathode tube.

This lighting circuit is provided with a transformer T1 for generating high voltage in a secondary side coil, by receiving oscillating output of an oscillating circuit to a primary side coil and a boosting circuit, having a capacitor MC and generating boosting voltage for driving light emission of the stroboscopic discharge tube XEL, by charging the capacitor by receiving output voltage of the secondary coil of the transformer, and constituted so as to be capable of driving lighting of the cold-cathode tube CFL by the output voltage of the secondary coil of the transformer.
