Title:
LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR VANITY MIRROR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10109535
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a user with no dazzled feeling by providing an electric circuit which gradually increases an application voltage to a lamp in turning on a switch and gradually reduces the application voltage to the lamp in turning it off in a lighting system for a vanity mirror.

When a cover for movably covering a mirror and a lighting part provided in a sun visor is opened at a prescribed angle, a switch 8 is turned on and a capacitor 11 is charged from a battery 9 via a coil 10. When the charging voltage of the condenser 11 is gradually increased in this charging, the emission of the lamp 7 is intensified. On the other hand, when a user of a vanity mirror shuts a cover, the switch 8 is turned off and the charging current from the battery 9 to the capacitor 11 is cut off. In this timing, the current is energized from the capacitor 11 to the lamp 7 till the charge is discharged and the voltage of the capacitor is gradually reduced by this discharge and the emission of the lamp 7 is weakened.
