To improve versability of an actuator by relatively connecting an operation member and an actuator in the advancing/retreating direction of an output rod via an inoperation region in a door lock device having the operation member for locking/unlocking a lock and the actuator.
When a lock signal is sent from a remote controller, an actuator 18 advances an output rod 18a in the B direction by a controller provided in a chamber. The operation link 14 is advanced in the B direction thereby and a rod 12 moves upward in the A direction via a coupler 16. Then, a clearance S is present in a connecting part, between the output rod 18a and a member 14a, when one edge part of a long hole 18b and one of pins 14b are brought in contact with each other, the member 14a moves to the B direction by a residual stroke of the output rod 18a so as to be locked. This constitution can use the actuator 18 of the same stroke for different kinds of car types by just changing the member 14a.
