Abstract:
To provide an emergency escape device for a bus by which enables the quick and safe escape of even old, infant or handicapped persons or the like, not to mention ordinary adults.
An emergency escape device 3 is stored in the back surface side (inside) of a door main body 2 in a state folded to a storing vessel 5 and a rounded state. This emergency escape device 3 is composed of an escape slide 5 formed in a bag shape by the flexible material of a rubber or resin expanded and extended by a pressurized gas along the inside surface of the door main body 2, when the door main body 2 is turned and released and a gas accumulator 6a or an air pressure cylinder 6b loaded on a car body 1 for supplying the pressurized gas to this escape slide 5.
