To provide a line changeover device for a monorail-type golf cart, which requires no pit dug for its installation, free of trouble in installation, maintenance and inspection, and exhibits sufficient stability in supporting a turntable.
A turntable 10 mounted thereon with a changeover rail 11 is supported at its peripheral portion by annular thrust and radial ball bearings 8. By the side of this turntable 10, a motor 15 is placed uertically to transmit its power to the turntable 10 by way of spur gears 17 and 19, a driving sprocket wheel 20, a chain 3 and a driven sprocket wheel 12. The driven sprocket wheel 12 is constituted of smaller-diameter sprocket wheels 12a connected together into a wheel of a pseudo larger-diameter circle for cost reduction.
