The linear guide device is provided with a rail, which is provided with a pair of rail track surfaces in side surfaces thereof, a saddle-like slider, which has a pair of slider track surfaces opposite to the rail track surfaces and a return passage and which linearly moves in the rail for reciprocation, an end cap provided in a front end and a rear end of the slider in the moving direction thereof and having a direction change passage, a load passage formed by the rail tack surface and the slider surface, the roller which circulates in a circulation passage formed by connecting the load passage to the direction change passage through the return passage, and a holder for holding the roller rolling in the load passage. The holder and the slider are separately provided from each other, and the holder is provided with a guide surface for guiding both sides surfaces of the roller in the axial direction thereof, and the guide surface and the holder are made of the same material.
