Abstract:
To suppress glaring of a screen caused by variation in luminance of each pixel in a minute area, and also prevent occurrence of moire, with respect to a liquid crystal display apparatus.
A pattern face 26 of a light transmission plate 22 is divided into two or more sampling areas 31. The sampling areas 31 are classified into pixel corresponding areas 32 faced to pixels of a liquid crystal panel. When the average number of patterns of deflecting patterns 27 included in each pixel corresponding area 32 is expressed by μn and its standard deviation is expressed by σn, the deflecting patterns 27 are arranged at random and also so as to be satisfy a relation of 0<σn/μn≤0.154.
